Virtual/Hosted Dialer, The Best Tool to Grow Your Call Center

Last modified: January 20, 2021

Hosted Vicidial
If you run a ‘sales based’ company then it is absolutely paramount that you have an auto dialer in place. It is almost the ‘bread and butter’ of any sales company that wants to generate profit. Sadly though, an auto dialer is incredibly expensive to implement, especially if you are a start-up company. This is why you should look into solutions such as a Virtual Call Center which will be able to help your company out. So what is an auto dialer? Well as the name suggests, it dials numbers automatically. This is incredibly important for businesses as they will want to get through as many clients as possible. When the phone call is picked up the software will automatically connect the call to a ‘live person’ who can then deliver a message, whether it be a ‘sales message’ or just an information one. Some companies also use an auto dialer to deliver a ‘robotic caller’ or ‘voice broadcast message’ which is basically a pre-recorded message that plays when customers answer phones.  » Read more: Virtual/Hosted Dialer, The Best Tool to Grow Your Call Center  »

SIP Trunking Configuration made easy

Last modified: September 13, 2021

Vicidial SIP Trunking Configuration

1) How do I setup my SIP trunking configuration for inbound/outbound calling?

We authenticate IP-PBX SIP Trunking traffic by: IP Authentication (IP address) or Digest Authentication (service account and PIN) SIP trunking configuration.

After the business has identified which PBX platform to use, you will need to establish a SIP trunk with our proxy server and send us your IP to input your IP address into our portal or register your switch with us.

SIP trunking configuration with IP Authentication (IP Address)

The IP Authentication method should be used when you have a static IP-PBX IP Address. IP Authentication provides enhanced security since your SIP trunk can only be used from the IP Address you provide.

On open source applications (such as Asterisk), you can setup your SIP trunk with IP Authentication as follows:

SIP trunking configuration for Outgoing Calls:

[out-1]
type=peer
port=5060
nat=auto
insecure=very
ignoresdpversion=yes
host=sipusa.switch2voip.us
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=from-trunk
canreinvite=no
allow=g729&g711

SIP trunking configuration with IP-PBX Incoming Settings:

[in-1]

disallow=all

type=peer

port=5060

nat=auto

insecure=invite

host=169.132.136.9

dtmfmode=rfc2833

context=from-trunk

canreinvite=no

allow=ulaw

allow=g729

[in-2]

disallow=all

type=peer

port=5060

nat=auto

insecure=invite

host=66.33.167.74

dtmfmode=rfc2833

Linksys VoIP Configuration
GENERAL INFORMATION The Linksys SPA3102 is a device similar to the Linksys PAP2/T line of devices in appearance and configuration. In addition to the similar appearance, the Linksys SPA3102 also adds extra features not present in the PAP2/T such as an FXO (Foreign Exchange Office: allowing you to use a normal PSTN line or PBX line for redundancy in case of an outage on your ISP…etc) and a built-in router allowing you to share your internet without the need for a standard router/switch. The Linksys SPA3102 is reliable and relatively inexpensive and can be considered by individuals who want the extra PSTN functionality for their specific environments. Linksys SPA3102 RESOURCES The configuration information below is based on firmware version 5.1.7(GW), which is the latest version as of this writing.
